For many years I wore a gold pendant with the Greek word for “creator” to remind myself of the responsibility I have as an artist to create light in the darkness, to speak my truth with an open heart. Eventually the ocean swallowed that necklace but I still strive to live up to the word. As the world around us continues to change I reimagine what it means to be a creator, offering hope & beauty to our society while encouraging others to pursue their calling.

I believe my real work is the religion with no name. The work of Eternal Life. I have always said that Eternal Life is not a surfboard company and I stand by that assessment. Eternal Life is the process of endless becoming; the regenerating rhizome of life feeding life that can never be finished. Radiant Death is Eternal Life and Eternal Life is Radiant Death. In the end is always the beginning. My hope is to expand Eternal Life outward (and inward) as a vehicle for collective artistic experience which expands human consciousness.

Our communities must be protected at all costs. The human experience is personal, collaborative. I encourage you to question any paradigms of power, systems of control, laws and media that seek to destroy the collective by keeping us angry and at odds with each other, broken & separate while slowly siphoning away our personal liberties. I encourage you to take a step back from the daily seizure spiral of media consumption and use your heart & mind to assess the motives of any ruling body that limits your inherent human freedoms. Question the rhetoric of fear that keeps you off-balance, anxious and struggling to breath. Remember that no one knows what you need better than you.

Listen to the pull of your deep heart’s core. Listen to the Creator within who came here to pursue freedom and bask in peace. You are not alone. We are a web of awakening. Life is brief and you always have a choice. What will you build with it? What will you give away? What will you claim as your birthright?

At times, it would be easy to let outrage over global affairs consume me, but I am fortunate that more often than angry I feel inspired by my friends and contemporaries as we continue our collective search for acceptance, meaning, and love in the face of vast upheaval. I do not know what Eternal Life will ultimately become, but I am grateful to be alive at this juncture in history. I know for certain that I have work to do. That the work has only begun.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for supporting Eternal Life. We move forward in learning & joy.

Many blessings always,

Logan
